Lets keep things in perspective here, before we go war on who is in the best country etc. This is a problem with a motorcycle and lets see what happens with the OP first see what dealer offers to do.

Hi guys for all that are interested I took the bike in today. I checked the rocker arm shaft pre journey. I rode the 20 mile trip to the dealer and indeed the shaft had moved a couple of mm further out. Phew I got lucky. They were appalled at the fact it had done it and the mechanic said it will be reported to Honda. They fixed the issue immediately by removing the missing bolt from a showroom bike. I had my first service done today and they knocked 10% for the problem which I thought was fair enough. I know it could have been worse for me but the bike is running as sweet as a nut and I'm grateful for them rushing it in for me. For me the case is resolved and I will just keep an eye on it after each ride.

Anyway we can get a zoomed out picture with an arrow to the bolt's? I just want to check mine when I get home.

But don't expect and demand a new bike. Makes you look like a spoiled jerk.
Very sorry to be so blunt. I know some will disagree with me.
I don't mean to rock the boat, but this is the difference between your generation and the current generation. :) Though I understand how the current generation feels, you will be disappointed every time if you expect to get something brand new every time something small on it breaks.

P.s. God bless America!

You are bashing America, when you openly deny one of the greatest achievements America has accomplished.

This is no different than if an anti-semite shows up on this forum and starts denying the Nazi holocaust ever happened.
Are you serious? You're comparing skepticism about the Apollo landings to holocaust denial?

haha they are nasa's own photos, doh! this is so funny....im only having a laugh really, pleeease don't take it too seriously like some others are! I nearly left this forum today because of the crazy stuff being aimed at me, but no way man bring it on....

Anyway I checked my bolt today and it seems just fine and dandy but I will be keeping an eye on it from now on!

At the time of the moon landings, and I watched them on tv, the Russians and Americans were locked in a space race, there is no way the Russians would have let them get away with faking it, they went.

Glad to hear your happy. Happy motoring. After this sort of thing I would buy the extended warranty. After reading your situation I am strongly considering it. I have always taken for granted the quality of Hondas. I guess crap happens everywhere.

I will be buying a good torque wrench tonight.

Yeah I'm pleased that ones sorted (so far). I considered the extended warranty but we get 2 years as standard in the UK which I think is plenty to get rid of the niggles

This thread should be renamed:

"CB500X engine failure, Apollo moon landings and holocausts" :)

leave me alone
This is exactly what I expected. No response from you.

You can sling your trash, but when it comes time for you to be a man and answer a straightforward question about yourself, you duck out.

Since you didn't feel like answering the question, I will just assume you are 15 years old. Because that is how you act on here.

Have fun, kiddo.
