aw man what a bummer, id get a refund. your not being daft at all. you didn't want to buy a new bike with a problem did you? give them ****! and get what you want !

You can't compare a shirt to a car or motorcycle. Seriously.

I worked in the automotive industry for 25 years. You don't get a new car because one of the components is bad. You replace the component(s).
This is how the world works.

If the rocker assembly fell apart, and sent metal chunks through the engine, you STILL wouldn't get a new bike!
You would get a new engine installed in your bike.

Too much crying going on. Demanding this and demanding that.
If you want to cry about something, cry about the TIME lost while your bike is being repaired.
That much, I can sympathize with ya!

But don't expect and demand a new bike. Makes you look like a spoiled jerk.
Very sorry to be so blunt. I know some will disagree with me.
I see what your saying but no way man, what if and yes it is a what if, but when something happens on a bike mid ride, mid corner, mid braking blah blah we can be in deep do do as riders. how is this dude going to trust his build quality? what bolt etc is going to work loose next? personally I would try and get a refund and never buy a Honda again, im no joking, its shocking and not on! wake up!

that's the same people who claim to have landed on the moon with a crew and a moon buggy drive it around , have a laugh and GET BACK!....as I said wake up!

of course nothing is perfect but back in the "real world" an item you buy has to be fit for purpose, and this dudes bike aint.

You don't believe humans went to the moon during the Apollo space program of the late 60's early 70's?

Our junk is still up there on the moon.
I met astronaut/senator John Glenn once. We went to the moon.

You wake up.
never heard of him, but Ive heard of Honda and they are a company that make motorcycles so when one of them implodes after 27 miles I would want my money back.

Sorry dude we did not get to the moon, do you know the temp difference between the light and shadow on the moon?

sorry sandmantis but I dont believe everything I read, im not some nut job either but I look at the facts and come to my own conclusions that's all, I just have an open mind and I hear what your saying but in my opinion (its just my opinion) we oooops sorry, you guys didn't go to the moon.

please feel free to change my opinion though, you can start by teaching me what we, sorry, you guys achieved?

And I always thought that we in the States and folks in the UK were buddies . I guess I was wrong about your side, I did'nt know America bashing was so common there:(
excuse me but I am in no way America bashing at all, that's just ridiculous i love America! your just jumping to some crazy conclusion because you've read a little discussion i was having with sandmantis. i was sucked into trying to help a poor guy out whos Honda is knackered.

in my opinion the guy needs to get his money back and get a different bike because how is he going to trust that bike again? his confidence riding it will never be the same in my opinion.

haha they are nasa's own photos, doh! this is so funny....im only having a laugh really, pleeease don't take it too seriously like some others are! I nearly left this forum today because of the crazy stuff being aimed at me, but no way man bring it on....

Anyway I checked my bolt today and it seems just fine and dandy but I will be keeping an eye on it from now on!

Thank you for understanding my frustration. No call back like I was promised by my case manager Pat from Honda customer service either. Getting tired of this whole situation.
firstly....I send you my sympathy man, total bummmmer!

Trading standards, get in touch with them, you are being humped by Honda and smokey and the bandits. enough mucking around get the big guns out, I was once sold a stinker of a car, trading standards helped a lot and so did turning up at the dealer with a bunch of mates, no dealer or company want a bad name so that's where to get them........get in touch with tv shows etc and let honda KNOW YOUR DOING IT! cause as much of a stink as you can and keep going until they sort you out. its just not good enough!

this is just my opinion of course, you have to get noticed because everyone has a million other things to do so if you are just moaning a little bit you will be ignored, be to them as big a problem as the bike is to you!;)

all the best my man:D
