They are supposed to be wind tunnel tested, so I would hope there would be some wind protection. Some real world experiences will hopefully help.

Well I fitted my Kappa screen and it sure looks good. I will let you know how it goes after the first ride or so.

159 miles today in 25 mph wind. Cannot say mpg was better, cannot say it stopped wind blast, but it felt better with it on, stopped a lot of flies getting on the speedo if nothing else. Its staying.

Update on the Kappa fly screen. Done a few rides now mostly windy, without the screen I would sometimes feel no wind and other times real buffeting and a sensation of the bike struggling a bit. Now I get the same wind blast on my chest no matter what the weather, but it's not intrusive. So I would say it's a success given the fact it catches a load of flies as well. 😁
