is it real top speed? :confused2

With a heavy guy on board, or with top box and panniers, or driving in a headwind, or uphill.

The European CB500F does 165 real GPS km/h, average of two directions (169/161) with a 186 cm 85 kg driver in leathers, according to our reputable MC Touring Club (in Danish) magazine.

 

Seems legit.

 

100mph is pretty much vmax on my F with me at 180lbs fully tucked. It waffled between 99-100 for a little bit, would not hit 101.

 

I got up to 105 once on my f.

I've hit 109/110 mph indicated, which I would assume to be about 104 mph? I'll use my phone's GPS recorder next time I get a chance to try, but highway patrol likes to watch my commute home.

edit: I probably weighed 170 lb dressed, w/ helmet, +20 lb backpack.
