The function of motorcycle rectifier is to regulate rectifier and voltage.
Rectifier introduction:
The rectifier is composed of vacuum tube, ignition tube, solid-state silicon semiconductor diode, mercury arc, etc. Its main function is to convert alternating current (AC) into direct current (DC), which is filtered and supplied to the load or inverter to provide charging voltage for the battery. A motorcycle is a two - or three wheeled vehicle driven by a gasoline engine and operated by hand. It is light, flexible and fast. It is widely used in patrol, passenger and freight transportation, etc. It is also used as sports equipment. Motorcycles can be divided into street cars, road racing cars, cross-country motorcycles, cruise cars, station wagons, etc.
Rectifier function of motorcycle:
If the motorcycle engine does not pass through the rectifier, the voltage will fluctuate greatly with the reduction of the engine speed, which will easily damage electrical appliances, such as high-voltage bags and bulbs. The rectifier is used as a voltage regulator. No matter how many volts the engine output is, it is 11 to 12.5 volts after passing through the rectifier. The electricity generated by the magneto of the motorcycle is alternating current, which is unstable and proportional to the engine speed. The maximum voltage can reach more than 60 volts. The rectifier of the motorcycle rectifies the AC power from the magneto into a DC power supply, and then adjusts it to about 14 volts for use by the electrical appliances in the vehicle, including charging the battery. If the rectifier is broken, the battery can not be charged naturally. Some rectifiers are damaged and have no voltage output (most). Some output voltages are too high. Replace them as soon as possible.
The function of motorcycle rectifier is to convert the vehicle AC current into DC power supply, which is used for power supply and distribution equipment. 1. The current required by the motorcycle electrical equipment is transmitted by the magneto; 2. If it does not pass through the rectifier, the voltage will fluctuate with the rotation speed of the engine, which is proportional to the rotation speed of the engine. The electric equipment can not bear this current, and it is easy to cause damage.
It is mainly made of vacuum tube, ignition tube and mercury arc. It rectifies the AC current from the magneto into a DC power supply, and then adjusts it to about 12 volts for electrical applications on the vehicle, including charging the battery. If the rectifier breaks down, the battery will certainly not be charged. If the rectifier is damaged, some have no voltage output, and some have ultra-high output voltage. If it is damaged, it should be replaced in time. Motorcycle rectifier usually has five lines, namely red, green, black, yellow and pink, which represent different functions.
