Hello everyone :),

I am coming to you following an accident with my 2013 CB500F, the engine is intact, however the whole front end was crushed and the speedo is totally broken. When I try to start my engine it does not work. The turn signals work, so the electrical supply is OK.

My question is: Is it necessary to have the meter for the engine to start?

If it is the case I will understand why the engine does not start, if not it means that the problem comes from elsewhere.

the condition of the meter ...

Automotive fuel system Vehicle Hood Motor vehicle Automotive lighting
Gas Machine Auto part Event Transparency
Circuit component Liquid Hardware programmer Electronic component Computer hardware

Thanks in advance (y)

Thank you :)

I changed the meter, and indeed it works again !

But the engine doesn't start, usually when I put the ignition I hear a little noise (probably the fuel pump?)

And now I don't have any noise, I have the impression that there is no more gasoline which arrives. Is it the fuel pump that broke? A fuse to change?

You can hear the little noise before starting on this bike:

Thanks in advance (y)
