I use to ride a CBR600 F2 but sold it about 15 years ago and haven't ridden since due to a car accident. I bought my CBR500R about 2 months ago and was wanting some input on a righteous setup. I weigh 150 pounds and I am a pretty aggressive rider. any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Welcome back to riding!
As there are "4 series" of this bike, you should declare the model year of your bike.
Broadly/generally, your weight is ideal for the default factory preload setup.
2022 model: you should be happy with the updated USD (upside down) forks, and dual disk brakes.
2019-2021: generally good.
2016-2018: generally good. Updated fork spring and damper rod; with preload adjustment. Updated rear shock.
2013-2015: Forks are known to be "too soft"; no preload adjustment.
Swap the rear shock for one from a GSXR-750. It's better and improves the geometry of the bike. You get high/low speed compression damping adjust, rebound adjust, a quieter chassis, increased grip on the rear, and better turn in. For less than $200 on eBay for one in good shape. Thank me later.
