Hello fellow CBR500 riders..

I have an problem with my SC project SC1-R titanium muffler. It has brown burned in stains..

I've tried washing it off didn't work. Next I tried WD40 didn't work either.

So I hope one of u has the solution the muffler was very expensive.

I only had a titanium can once and I found it high maintenance. If I remember rightly I used metal polish like solvol autosol, plenty on the cloth with only a light rub because I think it will polish the surface and then you will have to do all the can. Some body else may have other options. My choice is carbon now.

Years ago, we used a product called "Simichrome polish" that did the trick. I think it is still available somewhere.

Try a small spot to make sure it doesn't cause any problems.
