I need help choosing a rull-up style dry duffel bag for my CB500X. I already have DrySpec D20 saddlebags and plan on strapping the duffel to the back of my bike, laying perpendicular across the top of the saddlebags.

Can anyone tell me if they prefer any of the following:

  • A tall duffel that is not so wide, or a wide duffel that is less tall?
  • A duffel with a soft bottom, or a duffel with a rigid bottom that keeps it flat?
  • A smaller duffel (~ 50 liters) or a larger duffel (~ 60 to 70 liters)?
Here are the choices I’ve narrowed it down to (unfortunately because I'm a new user on this forum, I'm not allowed to post pics or links yet, but these can be found on Amazon):

LOBOO Waterproof Bag 66L

DuffelSak Waterproof Duffel Bag 60L

Kwik Tek Dry Pak Waterproof Duffel Bag 70L

Aqua Quest White Water Duffel 50 L

I have a Shad SH40 top box and I'm adding an Oxford T50 dry roll bag to strap onto the pillion. I expect to be able to pack all I need for a week but I pack light. My one-man tent and sleeping bag will fit in the dry bag with plenty of room to spare.

Thanks for the advice, fellas. I ended up getting a Mosko Moto Scout 60L bag...I really like it a lot so far.
