Hi I have ordered a new 2022 model CB500F and hope to get it soon
Ive test ridden a 2021 model and loved it although I thought suspension was a bit harsh for my 68kg weight and not the best view from the mirrors.Hoping the newer type forks will be better
Any general thoughts on the bike (obviously 2022 ones arent available yet) - ie whats it like for overtaking?
Seems great for twisties but didnt get a chance to ride it on motorways - how is it on that type of road

Any thoughts on touring with the bike and long term ownership?
PS i have downsized from a Triumph Tiger 800 - obviously less power but I am not a fast rider and didnt use all the Tigers power anyway
Hurry up Mr Honda cant wait for the new bike!

Problems with supply - even dealers cant tell me when yhe 2022 bikes are out - having sold my previous bike, I didnt want to be bikeless so bought a 2021 bike - a lovely condition machine with only 700 miles on the clock! Just run in perfect!
Yes the suspension does feel a bit budget but I'll see how it goes and have a play with preload etc - if not, I;ll get some sort of upgrade
Picking bike up tomorrow so back to being a Honda man!

Hi Guys, Just wondering if anyone can comment on the newer suspension yet compared to the previous model. I am considering buying a CB500F downsizing from a larger bike. I did a test ride of a 2019 version and it did seem quite soft. Primarily would be commuting to work/home which would not be an issue, but also would like to have some fun on the weeknds. Don't want to go too fast but more enjoy the riding windy country roads etc, but just hoping the suspension can handle the average roads at around the legal speed limits without wallowing around too much
