I just purchased a Coffman's Shorty Exhaust from their website: Product Categories 2013 (#5080) | Coffman's Exhaust

Does anyone else have one? I like how it's a shorty and not bulky like the ugly stock one.

Yeah I and its right around $200. So it won't break the bank. I should be getting it in early next week. I will definitely post a sound clip.

I think all bikes should come with louder exhaust. For me preferably, it's a safety issue.

That would go for any slip on can - not just this one...

A couple of tools, no problem.

Even smaller than LV cobra I have, worse thing for me is it shows off the weedy swing arm more!
Something like this will never be stock in any country to noisy.
As for theft you can lock wire bolts as racers do makes it harder can get special bolts that need more specialist sockets at end of the day if they want it they will have it!

Did you try removing the silencer yet? Anyone find a sound clip?

I'm torn between the Coffman shorty and Leo Vince GP corsa but can only find clips of the LV with the db killer removed:

Also, anyone know if removing the baffle/db killer requires FI tuning?

Personally I like the small Coffman shorty exhaust. It looks badass, reminds me of a Toce exhaust. The sharp cut of the slanted tip looks really nice, and with that gold tip. AWESOME. I think I'll get the gold tip coffman for my cbr, and put some gold trims here and there on the bike to make it a black/gold bike.

Hi Guys,

Been lurking (extensively) the forums, and hats off to most of you and your mods! I'm the proud owner of a new 2013 white CBR500RA and initially, I wanted to change only a few things and stumbling upon this forum you guys made my list THAT much longer!

Aside coffman for shorty exhausts, does anybody have any other suggestions? I have not seen that many out there aside Barracuda (Barracuda URBAN Brawler Kawasaki Ninja Honda CB 500X , CB 500 F, CBR)
