Has anyone removed the insides of the cat and left the body as original. It saves buying a decat system I thought, and it's free. Also can anyone shed light on the noise factor, is it much noisier without the cat fitted......

Don't see the point of ruining OEM cat that costs around 1200 euros instead of buying an aftermarket header for 200-300 euros that works better.

Honestly, this is hilarious. One of the bad advice ever I could read. It does not matter who loves the cat or not but how much you are saving doing this. Just purchase a nice after-market header which helps you a lot better than your advice.
