I have only 5000 kms or 3000 miles on my 2014 cbr500r and the rear tire is already wore through to the inner ply. Just wondering what other people got out of their stock tire? Maybe the tire was defective and could be covered under warranty?

I got 3000+ miles on my Dunlop rear, grip gone mostly from the middle of the tyre and not the sides. That was with fast riding though. I have Michelin road pilot 4 gt and have over 5,000miles on them and still plenty of grip. riding style will vary on the amount of miles you get. specially if you throttling it on 1st gear
