Hey guys!

I recently purchased a 2018 CBR500r. I love the bike so far and will be keeping it for a long time as a fun bike and commuter. One of my only gripes about the bike is the "fake Carbon" texture used on some of the fairings. I am curious if anyone has a solution to replace this stuff with just a plain plastic? I was thinking maybe some of the aftermarket fairings may not have this? Mainly looking to get rid of it around the windscreen/lcd area.

Thanks for any help!

I like the "fake carbon" look. It's sort of like figuring out which helmet to purchase.. gloss or matte finish. Same helmet, different look. If you can't find replacement panels you like better, you may consider looking into a vinyl wrap product of some kind. I've never used it, but the DIY videos I've viewed seem pretty straight forward, easy to install, with a nice finish. Good Luck.
