Installed the Puig engine guard on my 2019 500F. Excellent quality and fit.

When I installed them, they magnified the engine vibration at about 6k RPM. SO I removed them.
Still have them for sale.

Do you have the specs?

I bought the vortex v3 2.0 frame sliders

I'm about to buy the online haynes manual for the torque values but I'm curious if that is the book to get them from or I need the Honda service book.

I am new to this, so I want to get it right.

Haynes will give you the torques, but it's nothing like the OE one. If you look on here and do a search there is a link for a OE manual. Someone kindly added the information.

The torque for the positions used by both SW-Motech and Puig bars on the 500F are:

Upper engine hanger bolt: 41 lbf-ft, 60 Nm, 6.1 kgf-m
Front engine hanger bolt: 33 lbf-ft, 45 Nm, 4.6 kgf-m

Puig suggest 54 Nm may be used if the OEM values are unknown, which is not ideal for either. SW-Motech only say to use the OEM specifications. Given the bars are model specific, you would think both companies would be able to include the correct value. I assume it is a away of avoiding liability in case you mess things up.

Both advise the use of a medium thread locker liquid, i.e. Loctite.
