The immediate symptoms point to a weak battery, which can be tested with a voltmeter (should read 12.6v or higher) and a battery load test should be done, also. An auto parts store can provide this testing, usually at no charge. Takes but a moment and you should have your answer. If these tests indicate all is well with the battery (very unlikely) then this forum can offer the next steps to solve the problem If you have the traditional flooded cell battery, make sure the battery acid is up to the level mark shown on the battery. Might need some distilled water added. Don't over-fill, as battery acid damages painted or plated surfaces. There should be an overflow tube from the battery, exiting below the frame.
BTW, make sure the battery terminals are clean and the connections are snug.
