Guys, just thought I'd post a pic of my CB500F with newly fitted SW Motech crash bars. I had them fitted together with some R&G rear bobbins and a radiator guard by my local motorcycle mechanic. I also had a local motor trimmer add some extra padding the riders seat which has also worked out pretty well. FYI the tail bag in the 2nd pick is an Rjays that also expands to fit a helmet and converts to a backpack. Not the prettiest item but handy for a day tour and very functional.

Hope you never need the crash bars!
I have a 2016F & have added:
1) center stand, which is so useful for chain maintenance & much more especially when away from home
2) rear tire hugger, which keeps the shock & other things much cleaner in the wet
3) front fender extender, which some argue is overkill if you have a rad-guard (I have both)
4)small,Puig, windscreen which is a big plus at speeds over 40mph

I am using a Honda OEM tail bag, a small magnetic tank bag & a set of SW-Motech Blaze panniers. Great for light touring.
That about sums it up.
Enjoy the ride

motohance, I like the idea of the screen and may yet add that and a centre stand. Can you post some pics when you have a chance? Cheers

The wind screen is small & not everyone thinks it does much, but it does keep wind pressure off of your torso leaving your helmet in clear air, no buffeting. If I tuck in at higher speeds I certainly get into it’s draft. It is noticeable. It also keeps the magnetic tank bag stuck to the tank.
I also like how it visually cleans up the instrument cluster.

Which center stand?

Sure enough
This shows the windscreen straight on. I do not know why the photo is turned on it’s side, sorry.
Hi Motohonace,

I have the same Puig windscreen and I agree that it does its job fairly well. I was wondering which center stand worked for your bike? I have the '16 as well.

Cheers,

Raphael
