hello, I have a 2022 cbr500r and wanted to put on a new exhaust to make it sound better/louder. I was wondering what would be my best option? also curious if a 2021 exhaust would still work or if I'd have to go for a 2022?
I have the Yoshi and love it. Not as loud at idle but sounds awesome when taking off. '21 and '22 are pretty much the same, only front forks and brakes have been changed and some cam timing i believe.
GPR furore Nero is great. I’ve had one for 5 years. Big improvement on stock, not too loud but loud enough, pops, crackles a little, half price of Yoshi when I bought it.
The 500 is a pretty quiet bike. I put a Coffman on there and love the minimal look and weight savings. Now I can hear the revs over the wind. There's a removable DB killer/baffle. It doesn't make much difference soundwise in the neighborhood, but if you want low rpm grunt and don't rev it high, leave the baffle in. If you like to let the motor rev more freely in its upper range, take it out.
