Hi guys first time posting and really looking for some advice. I bought my 2022 cb500x during the summer and now that it's winter I'm trying to install handguards. I'm trying to remove the bar ends but it's impossible. I've griped the end with a vice etc but I'm starting to strip the screw. Anyone got any advice or is there something I'm missing? Thanks
Screw's have loc-tite on them,
try a manual hand impact driver on screw and a vice grip on round part
and maybe a helper to hold bike from falling over.
g-luck.

Got mine off with hand impact driver, no Loctite on the screws but they are cross hatched. Replaced them with heavier ones off of an older model. Mine is a 2021. Didn't cure the vibes though.
Yeah I got the impact driver and it worked a treat. €18 from Halfords perfect. You definitely notice the difference with the guards on. The next project now is a tool tube to put the rain cover in
Out of interest , what breed of hand guards did you fit , and how to you rate them , and the "fit " of them ref levers etc etc ? From comment above , sounds like wind protection is good possibly (are they 2 pieces per side plastic or just one ?)
cheers
I also reinstalled the mine one and this was a great fit. How’s your experience with this? Lemme know and update us on your current handguards.
