2023 CB500X Torque Settings

Good evening All,

I've recently taken delivery of a new CB500X and being vertically challenged shall we say I've opted to lower the bike a tad.
I've lowered the rear using a Lust Lowering Kit but now need to lower the front.
My problem is, try as I may I can't find the torque settings for the front axle pinch bolts, the top yoke bolts & the bottom yoke bolts.
The X has two hex cap bolts in each fork leg for the front axle, two either side on the bottom yoke and a single flange bolt each side of the top yoke.
Does anyone happen to know these torque settings please.
I have the latest Honda Workshop manual for the CB range but unfortunately it doesn't cover the upside down forks.
TIA.
J.C.

Why not ask the dealer who you purchased the bike from?
Their service dept. must have the latest service bulletin with these torque settings.

I have, They don't!
I bet they do, but they didn't want to share 😟

You could possibly go with the cb650 specs ?

I've looked into that by cross referencing the fixings used from the 2 bikes via the parts catalogue and a CB650R manual I have, but it's not really accurate enough as some fixings are flange head bolts while others are hex cap fixings, also different lengths add to the complication. I shall mark all the bolts and crack them off enough to slide the fork legs up the 12mm I'm looking for, retighten the fixings to the original marks then slowly adjust my torque wrench until i get to the point where the wrench clicks out then add a extra 1or2lb-ft and that should suffice.

I was a Honda dealership mechanic long ago; 1965 to 1970. When we tightened frame and fork bolts, we tightened them "just enough but not too tight". We dealt by feel and our experience.

I guess that isn't much help.
