The new 2013 Honda CBR500F, CBR500X and CBR500X all share the same chassis. The chassis type is Diamond, like the big brother CBR1000RR. It is characterized by its rigidity. Also, the motor and its attachments to the frame contribute to the rigidity of the assembly. We can therefore expect a good feeling when driving, supports precision control and safe driving.

The side of the chassis, Honda did not skimp on the means by equipping this little 500 forks 41mm in diameter and 120mm travel and a monoshock type ProLink with nine setting options in prestressing. In terms of braking, one finds very hard petal design. At the front, 320mm disc diameter bitten by a floating caliper with two pistons at the rear, a 240mm diameter and a single piston caliper. Obviously, the brake system has ABS, bearing safety in all conditions. To top it all, Honda has thought aesthetes amount of 17-inch wheels in Y-spoke, look back to those of the CBR1000RR. The tires, Metzeler Z8 Interact, have generous dimensions (120/70-17 160/60-17).
