My dad passed away January 18 this year, and I took two months off work to be with my mom. One day we went to the Kelowna Honda Powerhouse dealership, and I was eyeballing the orange model first, but my mom felt that the black was more classic, and she surprised me for my birthday with it!!!
We've come full circle now. Mom and I moved to Canada when I was 8. She married my dad, and now 42 years later he's gone. Now it's mom and I again. I'm gonna try to convince her to jump on the back and go for a little ride with me. After all, life is short and you only live once.
