Late Hello

Aplogies for not doing this sooner. I've got a 2017 CB500F from new - it's my fifth bike over the last 40 odd years - all have been Hondas; C 70, CG 125, CD 200 and a SG350. I'm now at the stage where I'm only a fair weather rider, so living in the UK I don't do many miles

I found this forum trying to get a softer pillion seat - my wife doesn't appreciate the "firm" pillion seat that is standard - still looking.

At least you have a wife that will consider mounting the pillion. My wife will two-up on the flat, old-school, seat on my dual sport, but refuses to get into the position the 500 requires. Something perhaps more appropriate for a young woman in her 20s than her 60s. Good luck with the pillion, I suspect it will need be a bespoke solution. In any event, welcome to the scrum & pray for dry weather. Cheers from California.

Ride like your life depends on it.

My wife had the same problem with the pillion seat. I fitted an Air Hawk cushion but unfortunately I cannot get her off it now.
