Hello from Dallas

New here! What a surprise right? Live in Plano, Texas. Only been here for a little over 2 years at this point. Just recently did the MSF course and purchased a 2014 CBR500R. Looking forward to learning how to ride better and making some friends!

Welcome.

Wear your safety gear on every ride, even to the grocery store!

Enjoy your bike.

welcome, if you don't know about it, you might also want to join Two Wheeled Texans (www.twtex.com), its a great group of people that arrange regular ride outs so you can improve your riding, make new friends and have a great time. I live in Princeton but work in Richardson. Let me know if you need any help with anything on the bike. My daughter (19) has a 2014 CBR500R and loves it..

Nothing to special at the moment! Still need to cut off the horrible Kuryakyn grips and an exhaust. Because of course

I actually signed up for that site the same day! Was told about it via the instructor at my MSF class. Have you cut off grips before? Thats on my agenda so far. Also got on Tonit recently, theres a dallas sports rider group that seems fairly mellow and does rides every weekend. Believe so at least. Look forward to see you out there sometime! Thank you!

Hi There, I hate to trash anything!! For grips I usually use compressed air to get them off (rather than cutting them)!! Can definitely help if you fancy a drive to Princeton I have compressed air and everything we will need to change them!! my email address is gwaugh64 at gmail dot com.
