Jerking 500R

Hey guys just seeing if a one has had experience with their bike jerking at about 4800 - 5400 rpms, my bike
has 27k miles on it probably time to change the sparkplug, air filter again maybe? Any insite on this is appreciated, thanks guys, Aloha��

sticky throttle cable + rough road? try rev'ing engine in that rpm range with bike stopped and in neutral, see how smooth throttle response is.


frozen link in chain? I expect this would affect 4800-5400 rpm only in a single gear.

I only changed my plugs at 42400kms finally due to one jerk at higher revs in 5th. I was waiting for some evidence that they needed changing.

Good to know. I'm at 34000km and overdue for new spark plugs. Still running fine (for now).
