i would imagine it should since there is not that much difference I would like to do the swap as well but I am not sure if honda would have the parts anytime soon, i was at the dealer the other day and the topic came up about the 2019 model and i was told it had a limited stock from honda.
I had a good look at a new 2019 next to a new pre-reg 2018 at my local dealer, with just this question in mind. Unfortunately, the whole moulding it fits into, and the entire front fairing is different, and I think there’s no real way of grafting one into the earlier models without it looking like an almighty lashup; even if it would talk to the ECU.
I am surprised that there are no aftermarket instruments for them to be honest, given the global nature of the brand and the inventiveness of the far-eastern market. I’ve yet to find anything though. I would very much prefer an analogue speedometer and an integrated gear indicator would be nice.
The main thing I want is a gear indicator, I have not found one that I like enough and I also dont like that they dont show the gear when clutch is engaged.
