Looks like a cross between a Ninja and VFR now (with that logo). Also I don't like the exhaust (but I don't like the stock exhausts on the bikes now either).

Am I the only one who isn't a fan of the aesthetics? All of the other improvements seem good though, but that's obvious.

The exhaust exterior is the same of the ninja 300

I think it looks good but it's hard to judge until you see it person. Glad to see a redesign of what I thought was the ugliest component on the bike—the footpeg bracket. Had to powder coat mine just so it wouldn't stand out so much.

Interested in seeing the full specs and dimensions but the addition of the hinged fuel cap is what caught my attention

Yeah, makes it seem like Honda listens to what the users say. Kind of nice.

I think it looks great. I wonder if they are updating the F and X models also? Since they are the same platform, it would make sense. A nice touch that they listened to customers and adding hinged fuel cap and better keys. Shame about retaining the ugly swingarm, but I guess they are still trying to keep the price down.

What I don't like is that the passenger seat looks a lot less comfortable. It looks like a 600RR type of setup, which is a shame because one of the advantages of the 500 was that it's surprisingly comfy two-up. I know it looks sportier though, so solo riders might prefer it.

All in all, great news that the model is continuing and getting some nice upgrades.

That's quite unlikely, since the engine was developed to sit right at the A2 license limit (47HP). I'm betting that the engine remains unchanged.

I'm hoping that some of those new part's will retro fit on my 2013 R! My wife doesn't think much of the rear seat though.
