Sold my CBR500 and bought a new bike.

Hey All,

Been a while since I posted in here but after 4 years of having the trusty 500 I decided it was time for a change.

I purchased a Yamaha Bolt or XVS950. It's a neat little cruiser and the modification and after market adaptations are endless.

I do miss the 500 however the bolt is a beautiful looking bike.

Such a substantial change in riding style. Why, if I may ask?

Pretty easy to speed on the 500. The bolt has a **** of a lot of torque so it's fun up to the speed limit. I'm in Australia so also wanted to jump off of a learner bike to something with a little but more displacement.

Yamaha makes a really nice bike at a good price. IMO, The Bolt is probably the best Sportster ever made. And, you don't have to buy in on the whole "Orange and Black BS".

To ride or not to ride? What a stupid question!... Anon
