Probably. I'm not a speed demon so I think a middleweight de-tuned inline-4 is a perfect middle ground for me.

Hey Rumble... You've been gone from the forum so long I thought you moved on long ago! Not many of us here from the original, summer of 2013 crew now Almost everyone moved on by now.


I like your choice a lot. The Hornet is a great bike, in many ways superior to the current CB650 (more power, higher spec suspension and brakes, European assembly, more premium feel). Interesting that you went for the pre-2007 version - I like the classic clocks and round headlight on it more than the post 2007 generation, but I would not want to lose fuel injection or ABS.


Your experience with the 500F must have been pretty good because the Hornet is probably the closest bike to it, just a step up (and two more cylinders!) Good luck with it and enjoy! Ride safe

Great bike @Rumble66. Loved every time I have had a chance to ride one and at city speeds, not much it can't keep up with. All the best with it.
