My first bike

My friend finally convinced me to get on 2 wheels, new 2015. I'm waiting on taking the class for my license but have just been riding it around the neighborhood. Only thing done to it was the progrip tanks pad and im looking for a good horn to add to it. Any other safety mod you all recommend?

go buy motorcycle safety gear for yourself. i bought head to toe gear before i bought my bike so i would not have any excuse to ride unprotected. this is especially important during your first year of riding as your skills and experience are not yet developed.

I'll second the gear. Going down with gear you stand a darn good chance of ending up OK overall.

I've full gear. Bell helmet with transition screen, alpinestars jacket with back and chest pad inserts, boots and gloves.

Best thing I would suggest is to stay off the bike until you take the course. That way you don't develop bad habits based on what seems correct. Tough order, I know.

Nice bike! I have the same one lol. The class is a really big help. After the course I spent a couple weeks just driving around my neighborhood and it was a big help in getting more comfortable.
