I just ordered a set of Vortex 7 degree clip ons. Should have them this week and installed by the weekend. I may get a bar end mirror as well.

Here's a couple quick pics of my new clip-ons.

I'll have better pictures of these and some mirror blanking plates I made tomorrow.

Here are some pics of a pair of bar end mirrors I bought. It's been pretty rainy lately so she's a little bit dirty.

Here are the mirror blanking plates I made. About 1/10th of the price RG racing is asking for theirs and very easy to make. I just traced the mirror base pattern on a piece of thin gauge steel and cut it out with a pair of tin snips. Then I cleaned it up on my bench grinder. This could be done right without a bench grinder very easily though. Total cost including the tin snips and paint is about twenty bucks.

^ Nice. I hope they're more effective than the stock mirrors. I'm well aware of what my arms look like while riding now.

Haha seriously. I love them honestly. They're slightly convex so I can see 2 lanes over and directly behind me at the same time.

I'm just not sure the circular mirrors suit this bike as well as something more irregular would. The circles are very café. Nevertheless, it looks very cool.

Yeah I agree. Down the road I might switch but at the time being I couldn't justify $100 for a set of mirrors. There's too many other parts I want! These were 40 bucks on Amazon.

How are the new clip ons, comfort wise? I commute 100 miles a day and need some level of comfort, but the stock bars on my R seem a bit high and cramped to me.
