Can anyone recommend a hard copy manual please? Tried to download one and my computer was infected. Ken

This is where I got mine:

2013-2016 Honda CB500F / CB500FA / CB500 / CB 500 Part# 61MGZ03 service shop repair manual

Don't know if it's a "legit" version as it almost looks like it's been photocopied but the images and writing is perfectly clear and it's quite a bit cheaper than anywhere else I've seen it for.

Hope this helps!

Yes it actually has fold out coloured wiring diagrams in the back on thicker paper so I'm even more pleased with the purchase! If it was a simple photocopy job I'm sure they wouldn't have gone through the trouble. thumbsup

I picked up the one from Helm Inc., which is the official outlet. It's quite decent.

Compared to VW service manuals even $90 US is nothing

They've gone up in price. I got one from them in 2013 for a CB1100 for $35. Definitely bootleg but hard to tell apart from the outrageously expensive one from Honda. Saving close to 70% for the CB500F. These are a definitely must have for those who link to maintain their bikes.

Factory service manuals are expensive, but when you think about all the work that goes in to making one, it's a bargain. The first time you use one to do a half way complicated job, you will save the money you spent on it, compared to taking the bike to someone and paying for the work.

However, while I used to get factory manuals for my cars, they (cars) have become so complicated due to the electronics and special equipment needed that I now go to the internet forums for the specific model and usually find what I need.

Anybody know where to find a PDF of one of these bad boys? I have managed to find one for every car I've owned and a couple 80s bikes, but can't seem to find PDFs for newer bikes.

Is this sold somewhere in Europe, so shipping is cheaper?

Getting only 1 service manual but paying for 1.72 service manuals seems a bit expensive.
