Black bike owners are generally boring with no imagination, black matt bikes owners should have their bikes taken off them and crushed.

Black bikes can be lots of fun, and if you did get bored, there are others things to do. And yes, she rides.

Next you'll be telling me pink bikes are fun.

Have you never seen the Top Gear Vietnam special? Hammond has a pink bike (painted by Clarkson and locals) that was great fun

My profile pic - that's a photo I took in Vietnam after two mates and I traced part of the top gear journey. You know when Clarkson gets all emotional about the view - that's that spot. Between Hoi An and Hue.

3 weeks later I bought my CBR500 bcs doing that journey around Vietnam made me miss owning a bike.

Btw, I was on a black scooter then 😜.

The flat black look is definitely a trend and apparently popular. To my esthetic sensibilities flat black bikes (and cars) look like they've been primed and are ready to get a proper paint job. Black wheels remind me of old cars that lost their hubcaps. For me any color other than flat black is an improvement. The 2014 tri-color is my favorite. Maybe Honda will see their way to doing a CBR500R in the Repsol livery with orange wheels.
